Communications Trailers
As the mining industry has embraced innovation in communication solutions, the use of communications trailers has become an important feature on almost all remote mine sites. PCA has developed a range of communications trailer solutions, which can be customised to the function you need using any of Cel-Fi, 2-way repeaters, microwave, LTE, IIOT, and breadcrumb (Rajant) technologies.
Trailers can be configured with different levels of solar and battery power depending on the application, and can be configured with or without a supporting communication tower. By far, the most common trailer tower design is the telescopic, which allows for manual, air, hydraulic, or winch-driven extension. All trailers are designed with rapid deployment in mind, allowing for a quick installation to get your communication network installed faster.
Where additional height is required, communications trailers can be paired with a guyed or freestanding tower, allowing maximum flexibility for the installation type and location. Trailer towers are designed to be left in one position for prolonged periods, and are designed to require minimal maintenance while delivering reliable performance.
